Annette was primarily raised by her grandparents in Sullivan County, New York. She has been told since an early age that she was a very talented and gifted artist. Annette has always had a love and passion for art and double majored in Commercial Art and Photography at Sullivan County Community College in 1992. She didn't complete her last semester because of the emotional stress caused by the loss of her mother after a long and painful battle with AIDS.
In April of 2000, Annette joined the US Navy seeing it as an opportunity to serve her country, relocate, travel, and take advantage of the educational benefits offered by the military to advance her education. In the Navy, she served as a Photographer on the USS Winston S. Churchill and the USS Nimitz during Operation Iraq Freedom. While in port, Annette studied Multimedia and Web Design at The Art Institute in San Diego.
After her release from the Navy in 2004, Annette stayed in California and worked as a Graphic Designer and Freelance Photographer while attending college in the evenings. Annette graduated in 2005 with a BA in Visual Communications and an MBA in Marketing in 2006.
Annette has several projects in the works; including a coffee table book of male nudes and poetry. Annette is also taking a few art classes to add to her fine art skill set. Annette loves the arts and is always finding ways to improve herself and her work.
